Tour is still going well, lots of fun and great sold out concerts. Loving the sunny weather TODAY!……long may it continue. We have 7 concerts left out of our busy 24gig schedule and then its back to bonnie Scotland and a day off!! Our German hasn’t improved much…but there is time yet!!!
It has been lovely to hear great music from Andy Laking, Sean Regan and Irish band Caladh Nua! Plenty of banterous bus journeys (in between the snoring.. zzzzzzzz)

Well, what another great year at Celtic Connections. We were both very busy! Siobhan had several great shows that she was taking part in. The Davey Steele concert in remembrance of him – ‘Steele the Show’, our guitarists Ewan MacPherson’s new project ‘RoughCoast Audio’ and a lovely singing gig with her Father Brian Miller with the band ‘Clutha’.
I was away in Germany for a bit with ‘CARA’ so missed the opening week, but when I got back I was teaching for Celtic Connections Education Projects and doing the Schools Concerts in the mornings which kept me busy everyday with very early starts!
We were very honored to have been asked to do the opening spot for Andy Irvine and John Doyle on the 24th January in the Royal Glasgow Concert Halls Strathclyde Suite. We had a great night and really enjoyed playing the gig. Andy and John were just superb!!
This is the SCOTSMAN review written by SUE WILSON *****
“…As Siobhan Miller demonstrated with a spine-tingling a cappella rendition of the tragic ballad Queen Jane, her extraordinarily assured, vividly nuanced singing is the most salient strength of her award-winning duo with fiddler, pianist and fellow vocalist Jeana Leslie. In fact, though – and while Leslie’s voice is also an instrument of no little potency – their real trump card is the radiant, mercurial harmonic chemistry between them, which illuminated a sparkling set throughout, perhaps most sublimely in an intertwined pair of heart-tugging lullabies.”
