End Of Celtic Connections for another Year!
February 11th, 2010Well that is Celtic Connections finished for another year! And as excepted it did not fail to excite! With all the venues spread throughout Glasgow there was always something to go and see!
We enjoyed or gig on the last weekend of the festival at Oran Mor. Thank you to all who attended, and for their wonderful singing! It was like having our own choir!
Celtic certainly was not lacking great artists. We were very lucky to meet and make lots of new acquaintances.
One of our favourite spots to haunt at the weekends was the ‘House of Song’ at the festival club, run by Doris Rougvie – a lovely singer and dear friend of ours. The ‘House of Song’ is a warm and friendly place to go if you fancy singing a song, joining in with others or just listening, all are welcome.
Anyway, alas it is over, for another year anyway! Hope all who attended it had a great time, just like we did!
